Bayside Business Centre Upgrading to a BYOD Meeting Room in Poole, Dorset

For Bayside, this upgrade to the meeting room has added another key advantage to the companies already in residence with an important addition during this time of Hybrid working and collaboration.

At Bayside they aim to offer a variety of options with Serviced Offices, Virtual Offices, Reception Services, Meeting Rooms &Hot Desks. The facilities within the Building offers the space and flexibility to suit their Client’s needs as they change and develop. Ideally positioned for easy access from Poole, Bournemouth, Broadstone, Wimborne and surrounding areas, Bayside Business Centre sits on the edge of Poole Harbour at Holes Bay.

All of the serviced offices are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and have communal access to kitchens, restroom facilities and plenty of on-site parking.

With the main Meeting Room, Jacqui Frampton, who owns and runs Bayside, was looking to enhance the offering and approached us, at Walcom Integration, to provide some additional equipment to enhance the offering as the space had recently been refurbished with new furniture and a feature wall.

We were able to offer an upgraded A/V function and provide the room with the added advantages of a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solution by introducing a large 50* screen TV professionally mounted and an HDMI cable which was accessible from the centre of the table.

This would now mean that meetings could be attended by Bayside Tenants and other external Companies/ Businesses who wished to have remote meetings utilising their own equipment and licenses (Zoom, Teams or Webex) without having to huddle around a laptop screen. Using the TV's screen and speakers has made remote meetings more efficient and engaging for everyone concerned.

Jacqui’s other business interest The Boardroom Network install their Anchor/Host for their Online Events in the 'Bayside Boardroom' which works perfectly when hosting online events attended by 70 + regional businesses. For Bayside, this has added another key advantage to the companies already in residence with an important addition during this time of Hybrid working and collaboration.
